So, it's been a while since I played HJ, and yesterday I felt the urge to have a little look at my hoards of pixel ponies, since about August, I think... Whoops.

On the plus side, I'd been collecting my weekly pay and daily showing bonus, so I had a nice balance of hbs to welcome me back. Bought myself a new barn to celebrate! Woo!

On the downside, almost all of my foundation herd is getting ready to age out, all my top show horses passed away, as well as a stallion I was quite fond of, and never drew straws from - damn!

Today I did a little hand breeding with a bunch of RS mares I had sitting in my primary barn. To my delight I bred a few gems including a Liver roan sabaino filly, a chocolate pally colt and a buckskin colt with pearl! - All, of course, failed breeding advice! :))

It's good to be back! :))

Sadly, at the moment there's an event going on where experienced players are making a new account and are trying the game as a free player, from scratch. Due to this most of the show horses have been picked off the sales board. You may find it a bit difficult to get your show bonus back up again, or at least quickly.

Give it 2 months the sales board may well be flooded with show ponies haha.

Nah, my daily show bonus hasn't diminished that much, I was just a bit sad to lose the few individuals with the big point counts.

I'm going to give the contest a go myself! I'm a little late to the party, so I probably won't make much ground, but hey, it'll be fun anyway. :)
