This is a friendly community, and we're always glad to give new players a helping hand. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. The FAQ User Guide is a good introduction to game basics but it doesn't cover all the fine details.
In this game, each player sets personal goals and then works to accomplish them. It's not a competition between players, but a battle against an array of built-in variability that makes it hard to predict exactly what will happen whether in breeding or showing. This keeps it fascinating and sometimes frustrating. We like to say, when a "beautiful" foal gets neutered, "There's always next season." :DDe gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
