Welcome to Hunt and Jump. There's a good basic overview of the game in the FAQ, but it doesn't cover all the fine points of the game. If you find that you have a question about something, please don't hesitate of make a post asking about what is confusing you. We're a friendly group and like helping new players find their feet in the game.

One important thing to know about it is that this is not a game where players are competing with each other. We all set our own goals (and sometimes change them as time goes on). Then we work to achieve them.

The best income source for you stable is your show string (although it's wise show all your intact horses, too.) We get a Showing Bonus which is based on the number of points our horses have gathered as they are shown. Except for the horse that comes in last in a show, all the other horses are awarded points based on where they placed and how many horses are in the show. Older show horses that have already gained some points are a great investment for you stable.
