These are my two nexus boys who will be of age in febuary, the only isssue is i dont know who to pair them with. And also to leave enough mares for my splash 2 boy. I have 10 2g mares who are actually of age to breed. HelpLife is Special live it to your fullest -

Ten mares for 3 stallions is a rough spot to be in... I. know I'm trying to put their dad over solid dark colors--black, dark or medium dark bay, dark chestnut. I know Abbey says the homozygous kids look better on horses with lots of shading--pangere, silvers, possibly varnish appy... My first 2G colt doesn't come of age til the March season...so I have another season to figure it out. I would trawl Abbeys kids to see what colors you like best on the homozygous foals and start trying to incorporate them now. Even if it means buying in a few new girls...

Im thinking one for each and the rest going to chocolateLife is Special live it to your fullest

I would probably split my mares up 3 to each stud and maybe the extra mare to your favorite boy.
I generally have 4 stallions and 11 mares for each generation. I am trying to avoid inbreeding in higher generations so I want a good variety of stallions. I usually breed two mares to each stallion and then three mares to outside studs. One day I'll probably upgrade each generation to a bigger barn and keep 4 stallions and 26 mares of each generation, but I can't quite afford that yet.
Do you have a link to your second gen mares and studs? That would probably help us with suggestions.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

My horses have stalkers.... ;)

Honey, only in the most innocent sense! More fans (slightly obsessed possibly) than stalkers....

I'll admit that I shamelessly peek at your stock Abbey. Especially the studs around breeding season time...SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
