Closed gene
-
My Secret Santa wants to present a het nexus colt to me. I don't have a breeding license for any closed genes, so theoretically I can get the foal only if he's gelded, but the nexus gene in the colt's genotype isn't marked as limited (isn't displayed in orange color). Is it still limited even though it's only heterozygous?understand the significance of signatures

Nexus is not a closed gene. You can find info about which genes are closed in the FAQ, they are also marked in orange on the gene test results. No orange means no restrictions.

Nexus isn't a closed gene! Just axiom. So you're both well within your rights to own him. Don't worry :)
Edit: Snap Ammit :)) -
