@bestfriend - For putting value on straws from your own boys, I would suggest that you not even fuss about it! If you go over or a bit under the 100k it's not that big a deal! We don't keep the receipts and add them up!

But if you feel you have to, I would go with just the cost to pull the straw.

However Ammit has said that that is going to change at a point. Basic upgrades aren't MEANT to use eggs. We don't know when it'll be changed so that we can't.

I don't know about embryos though...

I believe that they can create embryos by using a straw on a mare and then implanting the embryo into a surrogate. They should be able to be given or to buy an embryo and implant it as well. Creating embryos using eggs and straws is a Premium Upgrade feature.

So my SS wants high papered Riding Horses and I was wondering if any of these horses counted as high papered? This is my first year doing this so I want to get as close as I can to what they want. :) I would paper them all but I ran out of money lol (Ignore my few WB in there)

I would consider blue and A papered as high. :) So yes some of them are. Although seasoned people may say gold and star are high. See what she has in her barns. ;)

How do i send the gifts to my ss? Is it boring or wrong to only send horses (Of course after my ss likeings, I only got colors in my like list and my ss didnt dislike anything) or should i give embrious or straws aswell or something else? Please help :x

I was wondering similar things. I think embryos are quite expensive and even straws cost to use. if I was receiving SS gifts I would prefer horses to the promise of a horse! I am sure your SS will love their gifts. But of course if you have some nice stallions yourself you could offer them some straws from your crop and just charge 1hb if you want :) This is just my opinion..

That and keep in mind people, eggs are not meant to be able to be used by basic upgrades I believe. I remember Ammit saying that at one point she'll change that. It may be tomorrow, it may be next year.

But horses do seem to be a popular gift. I think in the over 100k bracket you can buy people barns and the like, but I don't know if many people'll do that.

If I were to send straws to someone's Secret Santa, would that count as an anonymous gift or are those just gifts paid for with real money?

If you're not the Secret Santa, then yes, you can send straws to someone and it will be anonymous. When I'm doing it as the Elf, I send a PM also, as the Elf, saying the straws (or whatever) are a gift from their Secret Santa. You could do the same, stating "Your Secret Santa wants you to have...."

Sorry more questions :) How would I send my SS a straw from another players horse? I would like to get the straw but I'm not sure how I could send it anonymously, I know my own straws have to wait because it will say its from me. :)

I was wondering the same thing. I think if you are sending it from someone else's horse there will be no link that it was sent from you. I'm not 100% sure though so you may want to wait for someone else to respond.

I would suggest sending the owner of the horse the hajibucks for the straw and asking them to send it to your SS with a PM saying it is a gift from SS.

However, I think Painted Dreams is correct--the message of a straw for sale just says "Another player has offered you a straw from this horse, and you get the option to purchase it. No mention of exactly who sent it is in the alert, to the best of my recollection.

It doesn’t say who sent the straw at the top alert but at the bottom of the transaction page someone could see who they sent the 1hb too. If they really wanted to snoop.

You reveal yourself sometime the 23rd on. I typically send a message Christmas Eve night or Christmas morning (before I get too busy with family dinners and such) saying that I’m their secret santa. I also include a list of all the horses, straws, eggs and other gifts or instructions because if they are anything like me they could be looking in the freezer Christmas morning thinking did I get that for my SS or did mine send it to me?

Basic Upgrades can use eggs... or at least last time I tried. (I usually don't use eggs because they are costly to use) That just can't pull them.

I know that basic upgrades can use eggs, but I remember that Ammit said she wants to change it, or something like that. So it's very possible in the future that basic upgrades won't be able to use eggs at all.

I mass flushed one of my mares. Giving away 6/8 eggs for others to give to their SS.
What pricing would I class them as for my SS? 3k for normal egg collection? 15k (125K flush divided buy no# eggs)
Or being the over 100k group it wouldn't matter if I have already reached the minimum?

I doubt that it would matter in the over 100k group as there is no limit to how much one could spend.

The best way to send it anonymous is to have an elf send it to them. I would hold off and send them all when you can reveal yourself.

So my under 100k SS does not have enough room for a horse, let alone 100k worth. How taboo is it to just get her a basic upgrade or barn along with the horses? And if I did, is there a way to transfer IVs or upgrade someone else's account with IVs?

I would suggest the barn, since the under 100k group 'agrees not to spend real money'. If you want to send hbs to Available to Adopt I can transfer them from there to your SS person. I don't think you can transfer IVs
