Several members of Hunt & Jump 2 have built up herds of horses that they are willing to give away to new members, or anyone struggling to get their barn on a solid footing.

To access the Available to Adopt horses list simply
1. Go to the Community tab on the menu bar on the left side of your screen and select Search Horses.
2. On the search page scroll down to the box that says Tattoo Name and type in the words Available To Adopt

This will give you a list of all the horses Available to Adopt. When you see a horse you like, click on the horses name and check it out. There will probably be some information about the horse and what it might be best used for, and you can see its pedigree and showing record.

When you find one you want to add to your barn just click on the owner’s name. That will take you to their main stable page where you can find their forum name. Send the owner a note on the forum to let them know you are interested in the horse. They will help you make arrangements to pick up your new purchase. They will also be willing to answer any other questions you might have. The people who have put horses up for the Adoption program want to help out!

Sellers! You need to remember that ALL sales should go through via Buddy Sales, to ensure the horse gets to the right person. Also remember to follow up with the buyer and see how things are going!
