Year 34 foals
-
These two stunning babies got the snip
I have placed them in Sundays auction if anyone wants a shiny show pony. -
Wow! Such fancy foals this season.
Phaethon was generous with his nexus and six out of the eight foals carry a copy. Yay! This filly is my personal favorite of the bunch. She looks like her daddy with tobiano as a bonus from mom. :) -
Wow Rits! I would love to see her homozygous foals in a few seasons! Bet she drops some stunners!Thanked by 1Ritsika
-
Ugh my first brindle ever bred, out of two HH's even. Failed the stallion test and SAT and got gelded. :(
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=413833
Depressing lol -
Oh Dark Mist I feel your pain! He's super cute though!
-
Aw, man, that's not fun. :(
I was just looking at the brindle leaderboard and nearly (but not really) being surprised that the PT of the Year part was empty :P What a coincidence! I bred a brindle colt last year. :P He papered Showable Only. XP -
@Dark Mist Farm, super lucky! I have yet to bred a brindle so I imagine the surprise was wonderful. SAT and GA always seem to snip the pretty ones. :P He will be a lovely show horse for sure.

I am drawing a blank for names, help! LOL Probably something Shakespeare related. -
How about:
Lord Abergavenny
LordOfCuteyPants
Aguecheek
Aufidius
Arviragus
Autolycus
And that's just from the A section of the Wikipedia list. :P -
@Abbey Road, oh he is lovely! I adore those high white stockings and the snip. And I like the name Misty Butt, lol :P
-
Favorite colt, RC Widowmaker ll.
Favorite fillies include: RC Milk Glass lll
RC Polar Ice lll
RC Hocus Pocus lll
For some reason, I keep thinking I see dark spots on Hocus Pocus. All three fillies have the same sire, RC Bipolar ll. This is the first year I have used him, and I am loving some of his get. -
I didn't notice he was brindle at first. I was looking at him thinking his color was blotchy looking. Then checked the breeders clubs and sure enough lol
-
Ooh I like Arviragus. Thanks Rose!
-
You're welcome. :P
-
@Ripshin Creek, ohhh I love RC Hocus Pocus lll.
-
Abbey, I love MistyButt! He's a lovely little guy! I love that it looks like his near fore is black on the outside, white on the inside (tho I'm glad we don't have to submit Coggins paperwork on these KP ponies...).
Rits, Milk Glass is beautiful!
I'm just starting my gen 5 foals. This guy is really cute! Hope he makes it through papering!

I still need to do some testing when the money comes in, but here's some favourites from the batch who passed free testing. So far out of 41 foals, only 2 got snipped! No names yet until they past the other testing.#4519
-
Congrats everyone, lots of beautiful foals this year so far.
Abbey, I love his cloudy pants. Like the name you chose too!Thanked by 1Abbey Road -
Aw shoot I should've called him Sir Cloudypants.
-
Unusual for me, but it's taken half the month to get through all of my breeding and sorting. Here's my top two intact babies and the top two spayed babies:
Wildfire: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=410474
Love her loud rabicano
Gunpoint: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=410769
Lots of fun patterns
LittleBlueBicycle: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=405425
I think these large blanket Appaloosas are just awesome!
Cactus Wren: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=410751
I may have cried a little when she was spayed. I just love her pattern.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

Oooh, they're really nice. :) I'm partial to browns with rabicano, so the Yule Log RS was awesome for me. :) I also love white. She's so pretty! :(
-
Bourbon I love your DP babies!
Salvistar, that classic champagne foal is a stunner!
I'm in love with this little girl! I love her striped ankles from the Sabino!

Roan is cool with homz nexus.... even though this boy was gelded I had to color test him to see if he was brindle, because I couldn't quite tell. He's not. -
Wow, that's really cool! :D
-
Oooooh!
-
The roan nexus looks like he's got the Milky Way on him. Thanks for sharing!SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

Found a roan I love this season too (sorry I keep posting individuals! Breeding is ongoing at my place!). Check out this gen 4 girl with all kinds of chrome!

Got this great looking superior to sire colt for my Dense line. Love his "mask"!
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=417014 -
Keep posting, Cheers! Wowee... love your girl with the sabino socks.
Kerredans, the mask on your boy is super cute! I'd be calling him Zorro or something lol :)) -
I got this cutie today! I just had to share. I love his blue eyes, and the half face nose marking is too cool. I thought he was a black liver, until I color tested him. He is just too cute. \:D/
Gloucester Marking: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=419356 -
OMG he's Nexus. And Sabino3. And Ice2. And intact. Maybe DP too. *faints*

-
@KerredansCorral, those spots are awesome and his mask too. Very cool!
@PaintsStables, those blue eyes are fabulous with that black coat and those nice white markings.
@Abbey Road, congratulations! He is going to make some awesome foals when he is older. :D
I have a couple Kit Promoter foals that I haven't shared yet. The snipper was very busy at my barn and I have these new fancy show horses:
I will definitely be trying for sabino 1 and sabino 2 in combination again because I love her look.
Her tiny wisp on her neck is adorable. :)
Bummed when this cutie passed free testing but scored a C on his stallion papering.
My fingers are crossed that this boy papers better than his full brother above.
EDIT: Great news! Watch Lite papered B! He gets to stay intact. Yay! -
LOL! Ritsika! I would be scrubbing and scrubbing on that wisp every time I groomed her! You have to name her Willow Wisp!
Thanked by 1Ritsika -
@Confluence Farms, haha! Yeah, I could imagine that happening at least once. "Come on spot, go away!" I named her Mark of Snowfall since her dam is Everlasting Snowfall and the mark kind of looks like a snowflake falling. I know its a stretch but I'm sorta romantic with my naming imagination. :P
Edit: though I'm not having much luck coming up with nifty names for these three sweet girls. -
Since the auctions ran and I had more hbs, I was able to make that full sibling of the first KP foal I posted. However, the brother was sadly gelded by GA. I will have to try again when I have more hbs.
This filly was actually painful to have snipped by SMA. :( She was the last straw I had from a very special stallion that recently passed away. And I'm not sure if the owner has more straws from him. She was extra special because I did a HUGE oops and she could have been a lethal white foal. Instead, I will be content with having her as a wonderful show mare.
Yay!! An intact KP filly! I could almost faint with pleasure. Everlasting Snowfall finally produced an intact foal with the wonderful KP Dragonfly. Take the bad news with some good news; there is always next season for my sabino 1 and sabino 2 intact combination. I do get to celebrate this season because of this filly. :D -
Ooo, Ritsika! That first colt is Gorgeous, even without his boy bits! And that last filly is lovely, too!
I just noticed that the middle girl has 'wisps' on her face...also very cool!Thanked by 1Ritsika -
Abbey, I fainted with you! That is an incredible combination and he's gorgeous too!
Rits, you know I have my fingers crossed for you! Cmon little boy, test well!!! Also, some possible names for the fillies:
Argenta or Lapis Lazuli for the top filly (silver or blue)
Masquerade for the middle because the curlicue on her face looks like a Viennese mask to me
Windtalker for the silver bay....because I think it's a good name!
-
@Confluence Farms, thank you very much! The two altered ones will definitely be beautiful in the show ring.
@Cheers, your extra luck is much appreciated! He made it. :D As for the names, I love the idea of Masquerade because she does look like she is wearing a mask - how cool is that! Lapis Lazuli is gorgeous. All of her foals will need to also have pretty eyes to follow the gem/stone naming theme now. Windtalker reminds me of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind which is a fabulous Hayao Miyazaki, might have to make a movie themed line of horses. I will be using these fabulous names. ;) -
I'm going to run out of time before this season ends....ugh! But look at this cutie, who is one of many running around in my gen 2 mare pastures!
-
What a cutie, Cheers! I love front right leg marking. It looks like the painter forgot to finish four matching stockings.Thanked by 1Cheers
-
Somehow, I haven't done this yet this year, so I'll just do this instead of my usual I'll Love To See Him Grown Up thread. :P
SO.
This filly is nearly what I'd like my ideal brown to be. Dark and satin-carrying. Ideally, I'd like Sooty+ too, but she's fine without it. :P
And from my first 2nd gen Pasture run, this cutie from a home-grown stud (by Weekend Wishes, actually :D) and out of a dam by Galaxies Collide:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=408454
Another 3g filly, but from a straw from Abbey Road's PartyFavors:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=405257
Last of the intacts, a son of a MoonAcre KP stud:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=425487
I love the contrast, and this is what I'm going to try to get into a Riding Horse line:
A cute kiddo (with a silly name) from Baya's Wind Singer:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=419552
Another grandkid from Galaxies Collide:
I think my second Nexus foal ever:
And it happened again! Another Brindle showpony:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=414276
And I'll love to see them grown up, too! ;P -
I'm still going through the pastures I bred in the last hours of the breeding season, so I keep on finding these great surprises! Check out my beautiful brown Brindled girl!
