Here's where we can post our favouritest pasture foals once they're bred. :D Tune in this morning to find out: Are they Intact? Are they up to specs? Are they plug ugly but brilliant quality? Exactly what time do pastures open, anyway? All this and more, on PASTURES!

I don't know when they'll open. It's almost 8 AM for me now, I'm logged on by phone and I wanted to check if I can breed my pasture horses now, but pastures are still closed. So I'm still waiting.

Currently there are five mares on my pasture, two of them are brindle. The only pasture stud is gray cream sabino. Seems interesting!

I think that pastures will be opened at 3 AM by HAJ time and now it's just few minutes past 2 AM.

Okay then, pasture horses have been bred!
I got five new foals.

I'm going to start the list with the best foal of the bunch - beautiful dun stallion, probably heterozygous pearl.

The next one is silver black (or maybe grullo?) roan mare. Is it splash? Is it sabino? Maybe splash with sabino? Whatever it is, it's gorgeous!

Simple but cute gray grullo mare without any white. I'll probably sell her, it's not such interesting as other foals.

Probably my favorite foal - gray black sabino mare. Her dam is the best of my mares, hope that this pretty girl will be as good as she!

And the last one - gray chestnut tobiano mare. Looks quite nice, but I think she will be sold too - it's not very interesting. Maybe I should test her colors.

Okay, it's all for this moment. No spayed or gelded ones. No usual colors, at least it was better than the last time. Just nice beginning of the new breeding season!

I really like the silver grullo/black roan mare, Pines! Simple, yet elegant.

My favorite overall, but unfortunately a gelding.

Two nexus babies passed muster to keep, one gelded one intact filly.

My very first 5th gen to pass free testing intact. I may snip him later based on comparison testing.

My favorite intact fillies. One carrying Sabino 3 and two carrying Sooty+.

That was a long list but I have some cuties in the crop this year.

@Pine Stables - I think your grullo filly is really cute, too. I've got a soft spot for them, though!
@Rhythm - Born Minimal is a stunner! Love all of those spots :-O
@fj8152 - Those are some awesome liver chestnuts you've got. I'm thoroughly jealous!

Exactly what I was shooting for when I made Kalisz Smoke... minimal white blue eyed splash riding horses with KP. Nose dots a bonus. (I'm almost as big a sucker for nose dots as blue eyes). Woot!

Abbey that boy is lovely! Everybody has great foals so far this year. I'm only 1.5 pastures in, lots of breeding still to go!

Yep. My grey line has Arabic names (i.e. Egyptian Arabs) and my KP line has Polish names (i.e. Polish).

He didn't compare as well as benchmark. Had to recite the mantra. :)

@fj1482, the splash dark chestnut has the coolest tail. I love her face marking too.
@Salvistar, your rabicano gelding is gorgeous! He is going to make a fabulous show horse. And I also love your Sabino 3 filly, very pretty!
@mabelhavana, love your tobiano filly and the one with white (2?). Their markings are awesome!

I just got around to half of my pasture foals so far. I was very excited my favorite so far passed all free testing, and some of the other tests as well. So I named him and continued on with some more pasture foals. Then I papered him and compared to his sire. He papered lower, and compared, 'Worse Than' his daddy, so I shed a little tear as I snipped away.

Woohoo on a Gold mare, Paints! That is awesome! This is my second Star colt but I haven't got any gold mares yet....still working on that!

Fj Electronica is the son of Mr Roboto and Change Station. So I thought naming him after a musical genre made sense!
