1) if you look hard enough several of my poems have been published.
2) it took me 14 years to write about 50 years worth of an imaginary family's tale with my friends.
3) I prefer toddlers to grown folk.45120 -
1) People and many other things terrify me.
2) My favorite flower is a Sunflower.

:-SLove,

1) I really, really suck at doing laundry. I could have only one load to do to and it will take at least two days; mostly because I forget it's in the dryer for a day or two. Then I end up fluffing it several times before I bother to take the time and fold it nicely.
2) I'm very picky about pop music. In fact, I don't much care for most of it. I have a secret love for instrumental music, like from movies.
3) I don't have a favourite colour because I appreciate different hues and tones of all colours!
I do not appreciate barf green or brown. Nope. Or magenta, oddly.ID# 25784 Home of quality Artylian Drafts & Cobs

1) I have been to 12 countries, 4 continents, and 1 US Territory
2) crafty endeavors of mine include knitting and ceramics (both handbuilt and thrown on the wheel)
3) I love to swing dance!ID# 43830

1) I actually love birds more than horses ( @-) don’t kill me, y’all, my precious ponies are a close second =)) )
2) I met my best friend and roommate online, and moved across the country to go to college with her three years later - we’ve been besties for seven years now.
3) I call my style tomboy-girly-girl: I wear jeans and a t-shirt one day, skirt the next, I’m a complete nerd - Marvel, MtG, DnD, action movies, etc, but then I also like sewing and tea and baking and sugar scrubs, and I simultaneously want to buy lessons for martial arts and ballroom dancing but don’t have the money for either :))ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time. -
1) I was homeschooled until college
2) I used to volunteer at a French and Indian War era fort in Charleston, NH with my family for a few years
3) While I've never been to another country, I have been out of this one. How? On a fishing trip with some of my family off the coast of Massachusetts, we went into International waters. -
1. I have had anxiety and on-and-off depression since I was 10 years old, mostly because of my mother, who I had to cut out of my life almost 11 years ago.
2. I hate how much time I spend NOT doing the things I really want to do. I am just too darn lazy.
3. I absolutely adore this little festival in England. We have been two times (2 yrs apart), and it is getting to the point that I want to throw a full tantrum if we can't go next year. It is electronic music AND a forest full of art (+ all kinds of fun, like yoga, reiki, african drum classes, hot tubs, all kinds of ceremonies, empowering classes, and so on and so on...). It is just this sweet little haven of love and equality. -
1) I boxed at local gyms for 9 years
2) I'm not afraid of any critter or creepy crawly, I actually own a lot of those that do scare people, but I'm terrified of clowns, yick!
3) I love to try new things all the time but one of my passions is chasing and photographing storms, plus if I don't shut up now I'll make this list a mile long...
-
1. I am a REALLY sensitive person. That is a recent realization I've had. I come off as really cold and insensitive but the smallest things can really, really get under my skin if I let them - which I usually do without realizing it.
2. My family has always moved around, we've never stayed in one house longer than 2.5 years since I've been born, and I always thought I wanted to settle down, but now I'm realizing that settling down would drive me nuts real fast.
3. I am totally a crazy cat lady on the inside.ID: 16853 -
1) I consider myself to be an introvert, but can be extroverted if the situation demands it. People who have only seen me in one can't believe I can also be the other. I do however need time to recharge after time spent in the extroverted brain space.
2) Despite being involved in a wide variety of activities and meeting lots of people, my best friend (sister is more appropriate) and I met through 4-H about 10 years ago. Ironically we had a mutual friend that wanted to introduce us and we both said we didn't really want to.
3) I was adopted at birth, but bear a striking resemblance to my adoptive parents, particularly my mom. -
1) I volunteered for a local Haunted Village attraction for a few years. My favorite role was the ghost of a dead wife during wife #7's funeral. It was certainly fun.
2) I frequent the local goth/industrial dance club whenever I can find a babysitter for my kids. Nothing quite like dancing in 6in platform boots all night.
3) I am friends with many musicians of varying degrees of fame on my Facebook. -
1 I love random facts (so this topic is just :O )
2 I am ambidextrous (but do everything right handed because the world is pretty much build that way)
3 I've been teaching myself genetics since I was 12-13 years old. I have learned horse, donkey, dog, cat, mouse, rat, gerbil, rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, cattle, sheep, goat, chicken, duck, muscovy, goose, zebra finch, lady gouldin finch, peafowl, guinea fowl, parakeet, Japanese quail, button quail... (I also like to make up my own species with realistically working genetics)
((And side note, my favorite breed of cattle is totally the Normande. So brindly and awesome!))#28036 -
1- I'm actually a dairy girl and well known in the show industry. I run a page with 2000 members from elite world ranking facilities to small hobby farm folk to bridge the gap in showing technique and fitting knowledge!
2- I have three indoor female cats that have yet to switch over a dog person. All three are very well trained. I used to foster. Cats are no different than dogs. They have just more attitude and do things on their own time. Work with the cats natural ability and you can have an amazing companion.
3- I cannot stand the sound of metal scraping metal (like a fork on a metal serving platter).ID# 24891

1. People are really not my favorite part of God's creation, though I can usually act as if that isn't so.
2. Thanks to a Welsh great-grandmother (or so the story goes), I have a pretty decent singing voice.
3. My parents planned to name their first child Timothy, until that was obviously the wrong name for their new-born daughter. So, because my mother spent her blizzardy night of labor reading the stories of Wagner's operas, I became Melody instead. :DDe gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

1. I’m extremely socially awkward and get along better with animals than people. I happily greet every animal I meet but will wait to be spoken to around new people.
2. I’m 25 years old but seriously obsessed with Harry Potter, having grown up reading the series. To the point where at least 4 of my pets have HP-themed names and I know which Hogwarts house they would all be in.
3. I mostly listen to country music but was somewhat of a One Direction fangirl back in the day. I’ve also been to a Pitbull concert :))Thanked by 1SandycreekFarm -
1- My favorite breed of horse is a paint horse
2- I am really shy around people
3- My favorite breed of dog is an Australian shepherd -
1 - I am actually more likely to look right past you, and baby talk to your dog, horse, goat, etc. Seriously. People, trigger my anxiety.
2 - I am a truckers wife. I am lucky enough to go out with him, so noone has to go it alone.
3 - other than my trucker, my pitbulls have my heart. They ride with us, kayak with us, everything they can with us. Hopefully soon, we can buy that farm, move my mare in, and all live happily ever afterPlayer ID 37457

3.) My favorite breed of horse is a shire. ( theyre beautiful creatures!)Thanked by 1SandycreekFarm -
1.) I have 2 paint horses. One is my breed name Caddo. He is half paint and half racking pony. He has 2 precious angels on his side a boy and a girl.
2.) My boys play football. They are both in middle school. Even though I love the fact they play I am always a nervous wreck getting around people.
3.) I had a bad riding accident 7 years ago that has left me disabled. It has instilled a fear of riding in me. I am slowly working on it. I love working my horses on the ground. The biggest thing the accident did was mess up my short term memory loss. I still love my horses and dream of showing again one day. -
1) I was in the Army for a while before receiving a medical discharge, and that period of time is still the best and worst of my life.
2) I am a trained professional photographer and I specialize in animal portraiture; my entire portfolio is shot at zoos and animal sanctuaries.
3) I am the biggest nerd in my entire family, yet I'm the only one to never go to any event like Star Fest or Comic Con.Thanked by 1SandycreekFarm -

2) I like history and genealogy and have currently tracked my birth mums maternal line of the family back so far the professional historians started to list Gods =))

1) My biggest regret is that I did not learn how to play cello when I had the chance. I currently live in two different countries at thensame time, so now it would be different, because of all the frequent traveling.
2) My proudest horse moment so far was when my horse placed 5th in the portuguese championship in Working Equitation last year. Next year I will compete on him, and challenge one of my biggest fear, I am really scared of doing competitions!
3) I am going to Florida next year. It will be my first visit in USA, and I am super exited!! -
1) I had a bad riding accident many, many years ago. While I physically recovered, I never got over the fear of riding and eventually quit. I do love being around horses and both my children had their own horses.
2) I once picked up a cougar at the airport. - I used to work with the big cats at a zoo.
3) I have three dogs - all large, all beautiful (to me), all a handful, and all rescues. I tend to take in the animals no one else wants. -
1.) Im slowly starting up my own photography “business” since I found a nice camera. (My instagram is @/LetsSayWeCanFly) it’s mostly horses but I photograph my cows, chickens and hopefully soon other peoples animals.
2.) I love my chickens. I would sit in their pen and cuddle and pet and kiss them all. They’re my little babies.
3.) I really want to send a DNA sample to the American Morgan Horse Society to see if my rescue mare is registered there and if she is I want to find her original owner(s) and find out more about her.EasternShowBarn

1) About 80% of my life since I left high school in 93 has been spent alone with animals or a computer. I'm a master of the art of being alone but not lonely, but I can't stand silence. There is always music or a television. Always.
2) I have been as low as it's possible for a human to go and come out the other side sane. Ish. Because of that, I often end up befriending other who are in dark places and trying to help them find a little light in their darkness. Sometimes I fail, but mostly they move on when they don't need me anymore.
3) Once upon a time, many moons ago in the dark ages of the internet, I was a pretty popular fanfic writer. People still read my fics, even the early stuff I am quite sure is/was horrible. The stories I was most proud of are invariably the ones only five people ever read, but the stuff I didn't even try with (And some of it won awards for badfic!) people still randomly want more of, fifteen years later. :))Justa ~ ID# 44842

1. I have also shown dogs for a couple years. (Although have shown horses my entire life)
2. Although right now my favorite event is Hunter Under Saddle (obviously... lol) and working hunter in the paint events I have also ridden saddleseat (including the stallion windsown black gold) and dressage for a summer, have driven a team of clydesdales, and ridden a rope horse stallion. Even went to a barrel race once.
3. I have trouble making friends with people my age in person.... I have one "RL" friend my age but all of the rest are at least 2x my age.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses. -
1. I'm probably one of the most hardheaded, stubborn people on Earth lol. I'm convinced it's inherited. Telling me I can't do a thing winds up with the thing being done, in most cases.
2. I've grown up on horseback, there's always been horses in my life. I almost go into a panic attack at the thought of not having one. They keep me sane. My 3 girls are all 20+ and that freaks me out cause they're getting older.
3. I was born with cataracts and have had 5 surgeries to help. Eventually, they'll take over. I have next to no sight in my left eye. I really wish pit bulls were an option for seeing eye dogs cause they're my favorite breed(we have 4) and I feel like this is an area they could shine.Thanked by 1SandycreekFarm -
1) I have a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, but I am working on a fantasy novel and am thinking about writing some fan fiction for a Star Wars game I play.
2) I'm married to a great guy, and neither of us have any interest in having kids. We currently have 4 cats and 3 dogs (2 pit bulls and an Akita/shepherd mix). Adoption is an idea we've thrown around, but we haven't entertained the idea of acting on it yet.
3) I'm a huge nerd. I love gaming, any and all. I've played D&D, Magic the Gathering, a bunch of different board games, games across all of the consoles (I own most of them), and a bunch of different PC games. -
1) I don't like being touched. It physical hurts at times. So large groups and being out in public is not something I enjoy. I tend to keep to myself.
2) I've been to ten countries in the past two months with my husband and kids, and we are nearly ready to head home to Florida. I'm very ready to see my cats again.
3) I met my husband on the internet 13 years ago, and we were married a year later.Thanked by 1SandycreekFarm -
1. I might be gettting into breeding Great Danes with in the next few years. My friend wants to get a male to add to the program.
2. I love to play Xbox one. I am into all kinds of games. Currently waiting on Spyro and Red dead redemption to come out
3. I rescued a Maine coon a year ago and he has developed a love for the breed. I guess you can say I love the giant animalsThanked by 1WhiteMountain -
@Windigo, do you live in the USA? If so, there are _NO_ breed restrictions on service dogs under the current regulations. You might have some extra work ahead of you to find trainers willing to work a Pit, but if you can get the dog trained to mitigate your disabilty, you can absolutely have a seeing-eye/ guide Pit Bull.

As with us all on here I share a deep love for horses and other animals.
I love photography and have seen a few others here as well I'm also on board with the other gamers and bookworms ;)
I'm always up for trading techniques, discussing books, etc...
Lastly I'm very happy to have met the people I have on here and look forward to meeting more. Thank you Ammit and your team for not only making this fun and addicting game but for bringing together a wonderful community of people I share more in common with than the people I see everyday.
Thanked by 1Ammit -
I found so much in common with you guys! Military backgrounds, travel experience, of course loving horses amd animals...
But @Bourbon, I've never met someone else whose favorite color is also gray! I've loved that color since preschool. I think it is because I have synesthesia and colors especially are linked with lots of other sensory input in my brain. Gray is a nice quiet color and gives me a break.ID# 43830

@ClearwaterCanyon I, too love tattoos and dogs. And I really want that guy's job! (he's cute, too).

@Seaswell I've had some of my poems published in online poetry magazines and several prize winners in a local poetry contest published in the books of winners. Several years ago I self-published a chapbook of some of my poems. I've mainly used it for gifts, but a couple of them have actually been purchased. :D

@Maribo, I think you resonate the loudest for me, as I have a toxic mother whom I cut off a few years ago for my mental well being. It's a difficult decision that cannot be made lightly, but must be made for your sanity. I applaud your self carePlayer ID 37457

I am also a photographer, but amateur - I make no money at it (yet). I mostly prefer landscape.
@CeffylDwr - I also have researched my family history - apparently we are related to St. Patrick, and he was able to trace his line back to Noah. That's as far as you can go right? :)) I get so excited when I come to a well-known historical figure in our line. My grandmother's ancestors were some of the first people to settle in America, and they were English nobility before that.
@HunterUnderSaddleGirl I have exactly 0 friends my age. The rest are the age of my parents or older.

@squishlime I am a total Potterhead, though at times it has taken over my life.
@maribo my mom is toxic too. I cut her out of the picture for a long time. She's mellowed with age, and we're talking again.45140 -
@paradise park
I am also really shy and awkward and I dont like to talk much.
I can also play the piano a little bit but both my piano the augers moved.
My favorite gem is actually Amber but opal is definitely my second favorite.
-
@HTRanch I think you might be the first other person I've met who also loves Grey! I'm colour blind so find it very confusing at times with colours and grey is just very calming indeed.
@SpryofJune I can empthasis with the people being scary! I want to interact with people but I shut down so quickly and want to get away. I can find that Social media is sometimes a little too much for me and forming responses to people make me really anxious.
@ParadisePark Opal is my favourite too :) It's the stone in my engagement ring!
@CWScowgirl87 & @RubyJoFarm I'm a totally crazy cat lady on the inside and also the outside. Here's my oldest child cat! I have another female, both are indoor cats and very cherished.
@RainTree Heeyyyo Xbox gamer! I sold my Xbox 360 a few years ago and I've regretted it ever since, I've got a mint N64 that I play still, some PC games and a PS4. I'm beyond excited for the new Red Dead and Spyro!

@Maribo - I JUST had to do some serious pulling back from my mother. It was a long time coming, but I finally learned my lesson.
I am also with you in the procrastination thing. I am SO bad! Things I enjoy get done right away, but if it is a chore; forget it! -
I missed the first part of this, but I'll chime in now:
@ClearwaterCanyon - I am totally with you on Josh Gates. He's cute and has a great sense of humor. His show is also pretty interesting, taking one to some out of the way places. I recall reading that he is married to someone he met on his production crew. Seems like a nice guy,
@HunterUnderSaddleGirl - I show dogs now. Shibas. Breeding and showing dogs is my main hobby. (I've done rescue for many years as well).
@DevilsParadise - Hey - I have a biology degree as well - with a minor in geology. (I always wanted to be a paleontologist, but pragmatism go tin the way.) I'm also a gamer! I've played D&D, but I prefer RPG's with fewer rules and tables. I like the d20 skill based games that Chaosium makes. Board games are great fun too. My oldest and best friends are all gamers.
Another thing about me - I have great difficulty with crossposting on my hJ2 accounts! TallTree = WhiteMountain. -
@CeffylDwr @RunFarAway I'm also adopted.
@Burbon My favorite color(s) is also gray (and purple)- my eyes are actually gray.
@maribro- I am also on the toxic mom train. If she can find a way to put me down, she will, and then she'll giggle about it like it makes it okay. But we live two days drive away now, so ...sweet relief.
Ammit, I also love cows. I used to read my book on the back of a cow on the farm on the weekends at my Grandma's farm and feed the calves their bottles in the evening with my Grandpa. I looked forward to it all week.
