Limit to straws in storage?
-
The type of account info says that premium accounts can have more straws than other types of accounts, but I couldn't find a number limit anywhere. I am thinking of merging accounts, and I want to make sure i won't run over the straw limit on one account!
-
I know for sure it is 100 straws per stallion on a basic upgrade, and I think I've heard that it is 200 on premium.
Edit - it's actually 500 per stallion on premium:

Besides limits on straws per stallion, there is no limit on total straws, eggs, or embryos that I know of. Also, if you lose your upgrade, your stored straws, eggs and embryos will still be safely waiting for you when you’re able to reactivate it.
That said, I highly recommend keeping your freezer as streamlined as possible. Many of us are guilty of hoarding random straws, forgetting them in dusty corners and then never using them. I have hundreds of thousands of hbs tied up in my freezer....and remember breeding from the freezer costs much more per foal than pasture breeding or live cover... -
Thanks for the info! I only have about 20 straws on each account, so I should be fine. I have breedings un mind for most of the straws, so I should be able to keep them in order....

I have far too many straws I have 203 straws, I need to have a proper lock through them and start using them next season.21170 ~ Breeder of quality Liver Chestnut and Chocolate Palomino riding horses and ponies with unique twists. Specializing in Kit Promoter with fancy white patterns.

I am extremely guilty of hoarding straws from my deceased boys and special horses. I stopped counting once I hit 1500 but I think it's around 1700 straws total :-??
I'm better about not hoarding eggs, but that's mostly cause they are harder to aquire!
