If you're referring to the Rank Special horses Nanotech Primer, while the horse itself would probably be worth a pretty penny (I paid 60k for mine), the offspring of RS horses don't usually carry much value aside from whatever genes they hold. The thing that makes a rank special, well, special, is that they have certain genes you wouldn't usually get in a foundation horse - and they have the RS tattoo. For the offspring, it's just a matter of having the genes, which you can probably compare to other horses with said genes to get a ballpark of cost.

For that one, I'd guess maybe 5k or so, maybe more if you find the right buyer. A lot of the horse market is supply and demand, after all. If that's somebody's dream G2 stud, they'll be willing to pay more than 10k, while if no one has any particular interest right now, you might only get 3k if that. I'd say either put him up for whatever you want to ask (maybe 10k or 15k), wait a few weeks and see if nobody bites then slowly start lowering the price a week or two at a time, or maybe try holding a simple forum auction and starting the bidding at 3k and see if anyone bites, or if you like him then just keeping him as a stud for those genes or a show pony if you're not breeding for those genes.
