Het sooty, no dp. I think they're about the same shade.

So I covered her tail and the other one with my hand (scientific I know lol), and I'd say that she's slightly darker than that het sooty I bought up. I did however look for the lightest one I could, since I'd know for sure that it wasn't hiding dp.

However she is consistently lighter than all of the hom sooty girls I have looked at, so I'd say with quite a bit of confidence that she has 1 darkening gene.

Okay that's great to know. I'm fixing to see how she does with my liver boy.
These two in FR have me wondering about them as well. I don't go for riding horses but I do have a draft stud so maybe I'd get a warmblood from them if I pick them up.

I think that the top one might be het dp as well. The bottom one I don't think so. She's lighter than the top.

Thanks! Went ahead and bought the other two, cause ya know, I will NOT spend more money :)) and wound up with two dark chestnuts with one copy of sty. But it's neither here nor there cause they could've got it from their dad. I think the top rh mare is het, just didn't pass it on. The other, eh I'll let her stick around for a few more breeding and see what happens. She can always go into my w8 line if liver ain't her thing.

I'm pretty sure that the top RH is het, and the bottom isn't. But if you want some big boned draft FF straws I have Mister Mystery. He's actually up for live cover in the liver breeders and sale chatroom for 5k for the rest of the season, but I'm not again selling straws.

Oh yes I'll take a couple. I have some draft liver mares that'll be ready next season he would be perfect for. How much? I may have to wait a couple days to get em, I really shouldn't have bought those other mares lol.
