A homozygous DP stallion is guaranteed to have foals with one copy of DP right?
I've been playing this game for 3 years so you'd think of know by now :P
I'll just say it's because I've been so absent the last few months.
I'm talking about my Freaky Friday stud. All of his kids will have at least one copy each of sty and dp?

Yup! A foal gets 1 copy from dad, and 1 copy from mum. If a horse only has the same copy, ie homozygous for that gene, then it will only pass it down. Eg a homozygous dp horse will always pass down a copy of dp, a homozygous snowflake will always pass down a copy of snowflake, a homozygous champagne (ChCh) will always have champagne foals (Ch?)Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Prices are almost always negotiable. -
Yes. They will get one copy at least. :)
