GMT a horse

Does a horse have to be a foundation to be able to GMT it?

you can use GMTs to modify what the foal inherited from his parents, but you can't add any genes a lined horse's parents didn't have. :)

can you change inconstant to consistant? What about snowflake or satin? if the horse already has a gene.

Yes you can GMT inconsistant horses consistant, if the horse has snowflake or satin from either of the parents you can GMT it on. I don't think you can GMT any hidden genes off (Snowflake, DP, KP or GP), you will just get an error if you try to GMT these genes and the horse already has them :)Thanked by 1wendolyne
