How to decide?
-
How do you all decide what studs to put up for public breeding? Which ones to keep in house? I am trying to figure out which ones to put up and which ones to keep in house. Most of my boys are pretty even to each other?
-
I generally choose ones that dont fit in my lines aswell that i wont use to put up for public..
Ones i know ill use i will generally offer straws for but wont put up for live cover until i have bred all my horses.Breeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.
Also breeder of mushroom, watercolour, chinchilla, splash m, wrong warp and thunderstruck.
Horses generally always available.
PM me for any enquiries. -
I place all my studs up for public stud service. But before I do, I breed them to my mares I want foals from. I like the extra hb that comes from public stud service. But I do not own any horses with limited gene bloodlines, like the nexus horses for example. This game is really all about what you want to do with your breeding program.

I rarely put my horses up for public breeding but when I do, I only put up horses that are completely bred by me and keep in-house any that have any outside blood lines. I know some people don’t mind but it’s too hard to remember which ones had restrictions or not so I choose to keep them all restricted (I have let breedings out on horses that the outside lined horse will be off the foal pedigree)
