  • Im new this is my second day on here. I have a question, how old does a horse have to be to show on here? And whats the oldest age he or she can show?
  • Welcome to Hunt and Jump.

Horses can be shown at any age, although foals and yearlings don't train, and the classes they are in are very, very small, so luck plays a huge role in how they place. Once horses turn 2 they can be trained once a week, which will increase the score they make in a show by a certain amount every time. They can be shown twice a week.

When I was just beginning to play and had only a few horses, I only showed yearlings a few times to get an idea about their consistency and where their scores would start out so I could plan to show them when they had a good chance of placing well once they did start training. Since Ammit introduced the showing bonus, I've been letting the autoshow feature of the premium upgrade show everything in most of my barns.

I have horses well into their twenties that are still showing and placing well.
