Just a message for the Florida players, stay save, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you and your families will all be safe.

Thank you NorthernStars. We are well prepared here. We are housing several other family and friends who had mandatory evacuations from their mobile homes. Lots of gas, batteries and chargers and a generator in case we need it. I think this calls how a cool new RH that has to do with Hurricanes rofl.

I think Ammit is open to suggestions on new rank specials for weekend wishes. I was think if they did one for hurricanes, they should be called Wild Winds, and they should be chestnut white 2 frame bridles, as in the uk anyway our weather warnings are red for the worst weather and the pattern of the white 2, frame and brindle should kinda look like the picture of a storm on the weather radar.

We moved all our ponies to a concrete barn today, so hopefully they'll stay safe during the hurricane! I think it's supposed to a a category 3 or 4 by the time it hits us. It was supposed to go eastward, but it's starting to move more west, and go over where I live... Thank you everyone! Today we're moving all our outdoor furniture so it won't blow away...

I may not be a Florida player, but please keep my uncle in your prayers. He lives in Miami and can see the ocean from his condo. He plans on riding out the storm there despite the danger. I'm really worried about him. He doesn't even have all the proper supplies and now he can't leave the city to evacuate.

Thinking of everyone in florida and their animals. I have both family and friends that live there. I know theres a few Floridian players on here too! Have a lot of friends with lots of horses as well. Super worried about everyone.
So sad about everyone who is in the middle of any of the natural disasters going on right now. Mother Nature is pissed.

My dad (and other family members) work for Lewis Tree Service and are headed down from PA/NJ to Florida today with a ton of power company trucks as well. I have a feeling we wont be seeing them for a while :(

I just finished making my last minute indoor preparations.
The first of the rain has started coming already even though it's not supposed to actually be here til tonight. It's supposed to be category 3 when it gets here. It will be scary but as long as we don't get a tornado we'll be ok.

We are doing great here so far. We are just starting to begin to get bands. I'm glad I set it up so that each family has their own room to be able to decompress. We have 3 families which includes 7 kids, 2 babies, 8 adults, 10, dogs and 4, cats. So far spirits are high and everyone is handling it pretty well.

Fj, are you guys flooding? It's been raining for almost 2 days straight for us, and it's currently almost raining sideways... I just went out for a drive, and all the roads were flooded, and my backyard looks like a lake!

I'm in Virginia listening to the radio and it sounds terrifying. They're saying some homes have already gone underwater. Hoping and praying for you folks.

We made it ok. We were lucky we didn't lose power or water. The power kept cutting out for a second at a time though and it made trying to use the computer impossible. My orange tree out front is broken. Someone elses shingles are all over the yard. We're missing shingles but I don't know where ours went.

My best friend and her family made it through! Apparently a tornado also went right through their back yard and cause a ton of damage. I stayed up most of the night after they lost power so I could give them updates on Irma's location. I'm so glad that they're safe :)

Powers still out for us, and I have terrible service at my house. My backyard is underwater, and we had a few trees down, but we did pretty good!

I still don't have power, and might not have any for another 2 weeks. Also, I think the cellular towers have something wrong with them, because I can't do anything on my phone... right now I'm at Wawa using their wifi :))

No flooding here but it looks like we will be without electricity until Sunday and they canceled school for the rest of the week.

We are good. Took awhile to get phone service. Thank you for everyone's concern. Thankfully all the families taking refuge at our house were also able to their homes with minimal damage. It was kind of crazy with 7 kids, 2 babies, 8 adults, 10 dogs, and 4 cats in one house. It worked out pretty good though. I can't say it's not nice to have my house back though lol

I hope your generator/fuel supply holds out til then! We are sending you good thoughts from Down Under and hoping you'll send some rain our way as we are about to go on water restrictions due to impending drought. Winter is our dry season but we haven't had any rain for months now and aren't due for any til at least October....dams are getting very low!

I will be praying for rain on both ends. We need it to flush our toilets. We have well water not city water. Unfortunately we will run out of gas at some point tomorrow so that will be top priority to find a place that still has some in the morning.

The hurricane did give me three things.

It gave me three little squirrels. I named them Irma, Katrina, and Camille. They are so much fun. I know many who rehab who have way more than I do.

Of course our power comes on the day we decide to stay in a hotel :)) oh well. Time to clean up the yard today. Since I wasn't playing everyday, my show bonus helped me finally save up some hbs :))
