Im so not prepared...
-
Im so not prepared for this breeding season.. with all the xpro hh ive been creating horses left right and centre.. as my pastures were filling up i just put them in any pasture wuth the 'ill sort it out later attitude'.. ive had a start to organising it but still heaps to go.. anyone else this unorganized? ?Breeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.
Also breeder of mushroom, watercolour, chinchilla, splash m, wrong warp and thunderstruck.
Horses generally always available.
PM me for any enquiries. -
I am with my bred foals. I'll have to label them their studs eventually, and that's 2-5 generations, once they're old enough to breed.

Just a suggestion...
I categorized everything first by gen, then by coat patter unless a w gene. Frame comes first as it is lethal when Homozygous. Then App, Sp, TB. Then coat color. Then name.
The game when looking for horses in drop down, list them alpha numerically, i use this to my advantage so I have less errors. Also if a horse is Exceptional Producing or ExceptionallyPerfect or an RS, thay becomes their gen name. Feel free to go through my barns to see how it works! It is soooo easy to find horses now!

Yeah i have F, G2, G3, F XP etc all before their names.. then any with lethat genes also have it in their name.. its just they are absolutely everywhere. So i have to move horses put of a pasture to make room for others that should be there.. its just a pain. Lol. And all because i was lazy and just decided to shove them anywhere. I think i nearlly have my xpro and dp foundie pastures sorted so im getting there. Lol

I was like that at the beginning. I'm slowly getting more organised. I've started getting strict with myself and selling the ones that I don't intend to breed. I regularly go through my show horses and sell the ones that aren't pulling their weight. It's still not as tidy as I'd like it to be. I'd like more barns and pastures but I have stuff I need to spend money on in real life. :(User ID: 25715

My foundation pastures are in good shape, but my Meteoric colt is breeding age and his pasture is a mess. And I may or may not have 25 or so gen 2 colts from last season that still need sorting. And my appy spot size experiment barn needs labeling and correlation with the new information about darkness affecting spot size. And, and, and.....plus real life is getting in the way again!
