So I finally got a job in the real world, lol. I start at Tractor Supply tomorrow! I'm so excited to finally be making my own money :D And I also get 15% off as an employee discount, which is awesome because that's where I get my rabbit and goat feed/supplies!

Congratulations! I worked in a tack store in Los Angeles for a while and kept buying REALLY stupid stuff that I couldn't afford, and DEFINITELY didn't need, and justified it by telling myself that I got it at a discount! Learned that lesson the hard way!

I applied for 2 TSC's in my area. Had one call back and completed the phone interview. Never heard from them again. I am very qualified for the job as I can cater to the equine customers and I've been in the FFA for 4 years. So I broke down and applied for McDonald's cause I need cash to go to FFA Nationals with in Indy in October.

Awesome congrats that's great I'd love to work at a supply store it would be a great job. Let us know how your first day goes hope you like it. And it's a great feeling to make your own money it's more valuable to you since you earned it :)

Ive always wanted to go to tractor supply and get the little farming play sets for kids. I keep saying it would be for my daughter but I think I might play with it more than her.

It was a very tiring first day lol But I survived :D I basically just shadowed other employees today. I definitely need to keep water with me from now on because I have a massive headache from lack of water.

Yes I bet you were tired it was really hot here today where I'm at and if it was hot there I can see why you'd have a headache sorry about the headache those suck but glad you survived :)

Funny story last time I went into tractor supply the lady that checked me out and accidentally put her wireless scanner in my bag and I did t know till I got to the barn where I keep my horse lol it was a 30 min drive but I returned it and it was too funny :))

I started my first job on Tuesday. Yesterday, I was taught how to make a mocha frappé and a man ordered one. He wanted a small. So I selected small on the machine and it blended it. I put it a small cup right, added whipped cream and the caramel drizzle. Went to put the dome lid on and it spilled out from under the lid and made a huge mess. I apologized for it and asked if he wanted another one made, he said no to just put it in a larger cup. So I did and the whipped cream ended up being in the middle. I felt so bad. But he understood when I told him it was only my second day and the first mocha frappé I'd ever made in my life. I had only seen my coworkers make them, but had never made one myself. So there's my funny first job story.
