Min bids of 20k and auction ends tomorrow at 9pm game time.
  • Nanotech-32144-20k
    Stars and Stripes1-
    Stars and Stripes2-
  • I'd bid 10k on Stars #1.. not very many of their foals are breedable.. :/

  • @KAMRanch You can't judge a horse's breeding ability based on intact foals, you judge based off AFPT. And all rank specials are perfect foundations with 100% breeding ability - minus ExPs - so you know exactly what quality you're getting for your money :D
  • People also will hand snip even if a foal passes BA and SBA. If mine don't have the genes I want, I'll cut them and use them for showing, even if they pass everything. I like collecting RS horses, so I have a bunch that are breeding show ponies :)
  • Nanotech - 17081 - 25k
    Stars and Stripes 1 - 17081- 20k
I'd bid on the other one if I had enough money :) Lovely boys
  • Yes! I hand snip hundreds of colts every season even though they pass SBA and Paper where I want them to. I only need a couple of colts per sire, so I snip tons and throw them in my show barn. I will snip a mare for having too many foals snipped by SBA, but I would expect a stallion to have a fairly high snip rate simply because half of his foals will be colts and only a couple of those will stay intact over his lifetime.

    Nanotech - 17081 - 25k
    Stars and Stripes1 - 17081 - 20k
    Stars and Stripes2 - 3790 - 20k

Artemis I would be willing to significantly increase my bid if you're willing to sell me all of Stars2's offspring as well.
  • @Cheers:

I'd be willing to sell all of them except for the following:

    Stars Black
    Stars Sowing
    Stars Bucking
    Stars Silver
  • Yeah, no, I'd want them so I could GMT him. So it's a bit of an all or nothing unfortunately....

If you'd be intersted in searching my herd for similar replacements I'd be happy to facilitate that but if you want to hold onto the foals that's fine too.
  • Thank you but no thank you.

If you're interested in a GMTable RS I stumbled upon this boy who I didn't know I had. He's never been bred.

    G1S C Kings of Olympus
    image

  • Artemis, Kings of Olympus is no longer GMTable. Horses have to have no living foals AND be 4 years old or younger.
    SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
    Barn ID - 2358
  • Salvistar is right, but if you don't want Olympus I would love to have him. I'd do 20k for him as well but you might get more with a forum auction since he's a DP Rank Special.
  • I completely forgot the 4 years or under! #-o

And no, I'll be happy to put him up for you for 20k.
  • Cool! Thanks! I'm playing around with a Catch All line that's dilute heavy and have it anchored with a Bone Fire stallion. This boy can join him and give me lots more dilute babies!
