Help me sort this out. Can I make these generalizations or am I missing what the different incarnations of champagne mean?

True or False?

1. A classic champagne would be black without the champagne gene.
2. A sable champagne would be bay without the champagne gene.
3. An amber champagne would be buckskin or perlino without the champagne gene.
4. A gold champagne would be palomino or cremello without the champagne gene.

And it looks like smokey creme with Champagne isn't even called champagne, at least in the game.

1. Black, grullo (since this is what black duns are called), smokey black or smokey cream, I believe.
2. A sable champagne is brown (E? A? SstySsty) with champagne.
3. An amber champagne would be bay, buckskin, or perlino with champagne.
4. A gold champagne would be chestnut, palomino, or cremello with champagne.

Cream doesn't show up in the color name of horses that also carry champagne, to the best of my knowledge.

No those are incorrect

1. Classic is black with champ only (you keep saying without)
2. Sable is brown only (very dark bay)
3. Amber is bay only.
4. Gold is chestnut only.

These names are according to the International Champagne Horse Registry and is the guideline we follow.

Creams that have champ are not labeled in our game because I do not put every little thing in the name. If I put every single small variation into the name the names would be miles long. So I put what you would call them in real life if you did not have genetic testing. A cremello with champ in real life would just be called a cremello. If you tested it and confirmed champ you would call it a Cremello Champagne, or the ICHR name of Double Cream Gold Champagne. You take any of the 4 names and just add Cream to it if it is single cream gene or Double Cream to it if the horse is double dilute. As I said that doesn't work great for our system as it gets way to long but that is the accepted ICHR naming scheme.

Thanks for the clarification, Ammit. I was basing my answer on the color names I've seen for my Hunt and Jump 1 horses.
