I just got a surprise when I did a search on all my horses sorted for total points. My number 8 best horse for points is one that under most circumstances I would have culled at birth! She is a 3rd gen with a PT of only 8.7 and inconsistent. I bought her as an intact mare for her color, but spayed her when she papered yellow after having 3 foals. She is now 17 with 931 points, 912hb lifetime profit, 4 ribbons for most points earned in the black breeders club, and frequently takes 1st place at 3W!
