It came out this morning that software called OpenSSL which runs on a large portion if the internet's secure connections had a massive security hole in its verification system (called Heartbeat) the bug has been nicknamed Heartbleed because it allows for memory leaks.

No site under Kinetocore Design Games uses OpenSSL, in addition Paypal has stated that they also do not use OpenSSL.

You do not need to change any of your KD Games passwords or your Paypal passwords. You may be contacted by other websites with instructions from them. For your saftey follow their instructions about changing passwords. Pay particular instructions from your bank and other financial companies.

This is a good reminder of why you should be using many different passwords, and always use a 100% unique password for your email. Never use your email password more then once. A good option to increase your security online is with password vault software like LastPass.
