    Does snowflake clone?
    How much do you need? I might be able to loan you.

    @Wildland Acres, copied directly from the Cloning page: "Please do not clone LE foundations. It's cheaty. Many LE genes do not clone, clone them at your own risk."

    So, if Snowflake does clone, it would not be fair. Though a high chance remains that Snowflake will not clone.

    But snowflake isn't really a limited edition gene since you have a small chance of getting snowflake on a random create. It looks like that's what happened to Bourbon's mare. She doesn't have snowflake gmt but when she was bred to a hom snowflake stud she had some hom snowflake foals.

    I used to think that snowflake was LE only, but Ammit confirmed that random creates can be het snowflake or even hom snowflake in this thread here.

    @WindwardFarm, oh right! That's correct. In the random creates you can get lucky enough to create horses with Snowflake. I thought of Snowflake as LE because you can't purchase/GMT them at the moment, but you are correct. Thank you for catching that. :)

    I did get very lucky finding out she was a carrier which is part of what makes her special plus she has always thrown the most gorgeous babies! Plus one of two intact foals she has is on deaths door too :-SS I'm going to risk a slow save and if she makes it, she'll be cloned if not I have one foal around left from her. Here's hoping that Down With Beauty survives too so I have a shot at keeping this mare aswell!
