I only breed Warmbloods but I just did my pasture breeding and got a Draft filly out of 2 foundation parents I am so confused.

For each breeding each parent supplies some invisible numbers in a +/- range above their own. Your mare and stallion have a bone density of 2.24 & 2.25 but their hidden range could have higher numbers. Luck of the draw your foal inherited a 2.50 bone density. Drafts have a bone density of 2.5 which means your foal just made the cut offThanked by 1Wolfgang Pride

Oh ok. Thanks it just confused me but I figured it was caused by the bone density.

There is no such thing as hidden range numbers.

That foal is RIGHT on the benchmark of being a draft. Drafts are 2.5 and up, so if you breed him to low bone density warmbloods you should just get warmbloods out of him.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.Thanked by 1Wolfgang Pride -
I figured but I didn't realize the mare was high till now. Thats the only Draft he's given and if they keep turing out like her then I don't mind them still breeding and giving Drafts they will make me some money when I sell them.
