I spent good money on a gold egg to breed to Niquel? I think it was the dams PT score. She is a 11.2 and He is a 12. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess the breeding fairy doesn't like me lol. Should I try to get gold eggs closer to my studs PT score? Or was this a bad roll of the dice? Seeing his breeding papers I would of altered him. His PT scrore is nice.

Could be a bad roll of the dice, or it could be that his dam's pedigree isn't quite as strong as Niquel's. I'm guessing that Niquel might be a mid range *Star while the mare was a very low *Gold. The combination could have produced an intact foal if the mare produced at the top end of her range. He will definitely be a nice show pony though!

Unfortunately I have no gold mares for him. I have to buy eggs. I will probably keep him.

Just breed him to blues. You will get some intact foals and they will be an awesome boost to your program.

Also, PT scores have NOTHING to do with breeding ability so don't worry about comparing a mare's PT score against a stallion's. A good breeder could have less showing ability and vice versa.
