Red vs Blue: 3g filly
-
I finally got a nice intact filly (so I thought) today. I've been trying to get a nice 18h and it happened! Then I realized she is a 3g "red" papered filly :( Is there a way to bring her up to Blue? Or am I just stuck snipping her?
4th times the charm -
If she has passed all testing, then you could always boost her. I expect Blue by 4th and Blue/Gold* by 5th, and will sometimes allow a Red G3 if she hasn't come from boosted/ExPerf/ExPro lines.
She looks to have come from a non boosted line, so I would expect Red by her level, and then her to produce Blue papered foals.AztecArabians

Oh! I thought they needed to be blue by 3g. I will definitely keep her then ♡ thank you so much!

Some players expect Blue by G3, I expect it by G2 for my KP lines, but they are boosted.
Definitely not a rule though! I would put her in a pasture for 30 days then breed her to a high B stallion, and expect her to produce Blue/A babies.AztecArabians

Well done RedDee - she looks lovely - don't snip her!
As this is a game (and a good one at that) we can breed for more than just papers and as a red girl at 3g that is still good. :)

Everyone has to kind of make their own guidelines. I find that usually the players who are the strictest (and thus expect blue 3rd gens) tend to also be the ones with a ton of breeding stock, so I think the strictness is partially because otherwise they're inundated with new intact foals lol.
I personally would reconsider 3g reds once I start getting sufficient 3g blues, but if you're not seeing a lot of them 3g reds are fine :)Thanked by 1ConfluenceFarms
