Stupid question...
-
Just from reading posts I am a bit confused on aging foals.
I originally thought that the foal gains a year per "real" month. So, if I bred a foal 3/25 it would turn "1" on 4/1.
After reading some posts it has me thinking the foal I bred would skip "1" and automatically turn "2" on 4/1.
So, do foals turn 1 or just skip it completely? Lol -
It skips it. The first month of "life" whether bred on the first breeding day of the month or last breeding day of the month, is the foal/yearling year. On the first of the next month foals will be 2.

Okay! That makes sense :) I like that better, less time I have to wait to show/breed.
