Looking for straws

    I have a mare whom I'd like to finish papering, and she needs one more foal. She's a 4th generation White Silver Amber Champagne, and her foals have gotten PT scores of 11.3 and 10.6, respectively. I have an egg from her and am looking for a straw from any stud who's 4th gen and papered A (or higher, but I understand that's unlikely). I don't care what color the stud is, and I'm willing to negotiate on the price -- let me know what you think is appropriate :)

    Alternatively, if you're really against selling a straw, I do have one egg pulled from her that I'd be willing to sell to use with a qualified stallion (you'd have to get the OK on which boy you plan to use first).

    Not at all. That was a deliberate choice. I often sell straws for that amount on special occasions, and I considered this one. I hope you get a good foal.

    I think you'll be as tickled as I am to know that right at the moment, he's sitting at #1 on the Bay and Brown, Roan, and Splash Breeders Club Top Stallions lists, and at #13 on the Era 0 club list as well. He may not stay there, but I'm impressed that he's made it at all, so high, especially since he's only an even 4th gen, by and A papered stallion and out of a Blue mare. I wonder where all the Star stallions are hiding. *G*
