First crop
-
Well, I just went through and bred my first crop. I guess it was pretty unsuccessful. Out of 22 foals I bred 1 colt and 3 fillies that are breeding level.
My question, what do you guys do with the horses you bred that are showers? Do you keep them to show? Sell them back to the game? Auction? -
If you have space, I'd keep them to build your show herd but if not, or if there's any you want to discard then sell them in the auction. It brings in more hbs than selling back to the game.
-
Some people swear by keeping them, some people sell some, but keep a few, some people ditch everything that gets altered. It all depends on how much space you have, and how you choose to play the game!
Let me say, too, that those numbers (altered vs intact) are not bad! I can breed over 75 horses and get that same ratio! -
Oh! Since this was my first breeding year I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm glad to know it wasn't unsuccessful!
Thank you for the answers :) -
If you are using mares in a pasture that have a good buildup of pasture bonus then you will get a higher ratio of breeding quality babies.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
