Congratulations! I hope all goes smoothly. Foals are like human babies--they can come at any time. You might think all the signs point to an imminent arrival and stay up until 2 AM, then decide she isn't going to foal this time, go to bed, and wake up to a baby in the pen. :DDe gustibus non disputandum. Very exciting! My first foals are due approx early March and I'm getting very impatient! Hope all goes well! Love foaling season! I usually have mine on marestare and it has been a lifesaver in so many ways!

Sweet congrats. I am not foaing this year. My stud had his last foal last year. Make sure you get together a foaling kit. Ifthis is your first foal there is a great book out there called Foaling Primer I highly recommend this book. It mentions everything for the foaling kit. It also gives you red flag scenarios and what to do in those sitations till a vet can get there.
