Secret Santa Nexus/Ice 8/Axiom/LE genes question

I don't have any LE genes in my herd, but my SS giftee does. Is it OK for me to pay another stable (who already has that gene) for a horse (if they're willing to sell), then the other barn can sell it directly to my SS giftee?

As long as the horse/genetic material goes straight to them and you never touch it yep it is totally fine. :)
