I believe fantasy horses can no longer be publicly bred (and future fantasy genes will all be Exclusive--you can only own them if you bought in for real money at foundation level) because of abuse of the genes. Spamming creates and also the wide availability of really poorly bred fantasy horses sold at high prices to new players are both contributing causes I believe.

GMT tokens can be used to alter anything on a foundation horse (new create) that is 4 years old or younger with no living offspring that is color tested. All genes are up for manipulation as long as you have enough tokens. Once you start to manipulate lined horses--those bred by you from a sire and dam--you can only change things within the reality of the available genetics. So if you have a mare that is AA for the agouti gene, you can never make one of her offspring black, for instance. You can only switched the allele to the other possiblity at that locus from that parent. And again it must be done before the foal is 5 years old and when it has no living offspring and is color tested. I believe you also need the basic upgrade to utilize the GMT lab.

You can collect and sell straws in the advanced breeding lab. If you want to buy straws they will show up on your Stable Home Page in your daily alerts. Straws can only be used with the basic upgrade. The lab is relatively straightforward but if you are still confused I or someone else can try to give you step by step instructions in there.

You buy straws when other players send them to you, and there is no real specific way to adivertise, aside from the breeding forum, buddy chats, Facebook and through word of mouth.
