Leveled Off

What does it mean when you create a horse, and he has leveled off with training already? He is a bad shower, but can he ever breed a decent foal? Thanks!
-
Yep. It's no guarantee that he will be a good breeder, because breeding ability scores are unknown, but he COULD be.
If you PT test him he will probably have a really low score. -
Breeding ability and showing ability/performance testing have very little correlation in an individual horse. He might be a great dad. But personally, I want my boys to do double duty as show ponies and studs...so unless he has amazing colors, I would replace him with a boy from the Foundation Rescue (search Owner 13). Every horse in the foundation rescue is perfect foundation quality, so they are a great resource for solid, plainly colored, high quality foundation breeding stock.

Got it. Thank you so much for your help!! I appreciate it so much!!! :)

Your best test of his breeding ability, short of actually using him as a sire, would be to use the Stallion Papering test. If he will be an okay breeding foundation, he will paper C. If not, he will paper "Showable Only."De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
