Yearlings don't train and the class they show in (1L) only has 2 horses in it so luck is the major factor in where a horse places. Horses from the great show horses HH will have 100% foundation raining ability which gives them a PT in the upper 9s (the exact PT is effected by consistency). Once they start training they will add 8 training points to their score each week (based on the recent show performance of some of my PT 9.9 foundations.)
