How do I get to it?
-
I found it but why won't a mare that I know was bred not show up on the LB
-
Mares have to have a certain number of foals in order to be considered for the Top Producing Mare leaderboard. The placings are determined by the quality of the mare's foals (based on a number of factors that only Ammit knows). Naturally higher generation mares are more likely to hit the top 25 which are what the leaderboard shows. Foundation mares have little chance of turning up there. Chances are that 2nd gen mares will not be their either. In the Appaloosa Breeders Club, the number 1 mare is 8th generation.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

To add to Sandy's post above. There are also lists for Highest Points Earned by Foundation Horses, 2nd Gen Horses, and Lined Horses. It might be a little more easier to get on those lists, rather than the Top Producing Mare or Stallion lists. But, they usually won't get there until they a little older, because they have to have a lot of points. I have some that are over 10 years old on those lists on the Leaderboards.

Ok yeah I want to see my horses get there. Just not sure how to get that accomplished. I have gotten older mares and stallions. Trying to figure out what my goals are here.still learning the genetics but I haven't made my mind up which way I want to go. Are there different breeds here?
-
Not officially, but the different TYPES could stand in stead for breeds. Riding horses might LOOK like Arabians, but they are not Arabians. I suppose, if you want to think of the types as breeds you could, but there is no leader board for the different types, only colors (since this IS a game based on equine coat color genetics!!)
