What is the best way to earn money? Do I show horses throughout the week or all in one day? How do you all do it?

Earning money may seem slow at first, but show them twice a week, enter them until the game has you wait until the next week. Make sure you keep their training up also. When you make more money, the best way to earn a little faster, is to get a show horse that already has points for his/her previous owner. Around 10 to 12 years old, you will still get a few more years showing out of them. Points earn you showing bonus. Look at the points only
You might check out horses that are up for adoption most of them have some nice points and are less expensive. Also check out Confluence Farms free mare and free breeding thread. She may have a nice mare that has some points already.

Another way to earn money more quickly is to use your pasture. Put in a stallion and mares, let them breed on the 14th of the month. Remove the foals from the pasture and put them in the auction. It will cost you 500 hbs per foal and you will earn 2500 minus the auction fee for the sale (I'm not sure what this is, but I think there's a smallish fee.). This will still take time to accumulate any huge amounts, but it's a strategy for increasing your monthly income. You can breed your favorite color/pattern by hand in the meantime.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Pastures are really not a fast way tbh. You need lots of mares to make any money at them, and you are better off spending that money on show horses from the auction.
It takes 2 game years to make your first cent of profit from pastures, show horses can start making you that money back much faster.
