When it says 1of 2 is that my placing?
-
Yes, you placed first out of two horses in that class. Don't forget to train your horses every week and show them twice each week! Earning points from showing is the major way players earn game cash!
-
Ok do you get more points if there are more horses in the show? How do you get the ratings
-
You get more points the higher they place. The higher the level they are competing then the more points you get.
I hope that makes sense. -
If you go to "My Show Entries" you can see all the various classes and the number of horses that will be in each one. You can also see what the entry fee for each one is. Fewer points are awarded to horses in Local grade classes at each Level, but generally speaking, the higher the level/grade, the more horses there are in a class and the more points awarded.
You can see the details of which horses were in a class with yours by clicking on the name of the show for the most recent ones. You can find out who owns the other horses in the class, how much every cash prize was, and how many points were awarded to each horse in the class.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

On HJ you don't do a whole lot of managing your show horses. Many of us with upgrades just set our barns to automatically enter the horses and let Auto Enter do all the work. Make sure you train and enter your horses every week, but the class and placing are not as important as the points they earn. ANY points are good. They will only train up to those higher level classes (the ones with more entries and points!) if you remember to train and enter, train and enter, train and enter! :)

Thank you
