I am seeing this be a bit of an issue and the other day I had to deal with someone being really nasty to a new member of it. It is against the rules to use the public sale to sell a horse to some one specific. Horses on the public sale list are for sale for everyone. You can not put "for suchandsuch" in the notes for the horse. Such notes are directly against the rules.
If you do not have buddy sales you will need to arrange a pickup time via PM when you are both on.
Thankfully the vast majority of our users are awesome and using the sales list like this normally does not cause issues but it can cause some really nasty drama. The best thing for everyone is just to arrange things via PM to prevent any issues.

To clarify, if you have several horses on buddy for different people, is it okay to put who they are for in the notes in that case?
-
Guilty. Sorry! :-S Brain was elsewhere (not an out of the ordinary experience for me!)
-
Yep. If they are on buddy sale you can put what ever you want in the notes. The rule only comes into play on the public sale.
Confluence Farms no harm done at all!
