Looking for good quality appaloosa's
-
Breeding stock. Must be papered at least B.

Hey Skye! Foundation stallions rarely paper better than C (the B papered foundations are clones of a batch of exceptional Rank Special herd helpers from days gone by, the only exceptionals to ever come out on this version of the game). That said, many of us expect our gen 3 stallions to paper A, so generally B papered stallions are gen 2. Are you looking for non-foundation stallions?
It should be noted that while you are certainly welcome to breed however you see fit, generally evenly bred horses are much more sellable than unevenly bred ones. By this I mean breeding foundation stallions to foundation mares, gen 2 stallions to gen 2 mares, gen 6 stallions to gen 6 mares. (Eras don't matter as far as evenness).
Also, mares paper by color rather than letter. So:
Stallions paper: Showable Only, C, B, A, *Star.
Mares paper: Failed, Yellow, Red, Blue, *Gold.
In general, the paper levels are thought to be equivalent, so a Red mare is about as good a breeder as a B stallion. But, stallions paper strictly on their own merit and can be papered at birth, while mares are papered based on the quality of their foals (mares must have at least 3 living foals to be papered) which means the quality of the stallions you use makes a significant difference to how your mares paper!
So, now that I've written you a dissertation....sorry about that! I have some appy stock, mostly gen 2 but there are some foundation mares I would be willing to part with. I don't think many if any of my mares are papered yet, but I think I have a B papered colt that is As Good As my benchmark gen 2 stallion. If that interests you, let me know and I will put up some links for you.Thanked by 1RoseFlute -
Cheers has covered it, she won't steer you wrong (and her stock is awesome)!
That being said, I may have few you might be interested in. These two boys don't fit in my program and are second generation B. If you are interested, I will gladly come down on prices.

I also have several second generation appy mares, and a few in the higher generations. Very few of my mares are papered (some reds and a few blues), but if you let me know know what you are looking for (height, build, patterns, dilutes) I can comb through them.

So excuse my ignorance lol, how do you tell what generation is what? Just look through the family?
Sorry it's all a bit confusing at first -
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=421215 so what gen is he?
-
He's second generation (he has two foundation parents).
I basically look at the family and count how far along in the family tree they are :) -
Skye--Some of us number our horses in their names to indicate their generation.
This boy is an evenly bred generation 8. If you open his full pedigree, you can count the columns of ancestors. Each column is a generation, with Gen 1 being called Foundation in this game.

I hope that helps! -

I am happy to paper anyone your interested in. But the cheaper ones will have to increase price ro cover his papers.
-
I may have some mares too. And if you private message me we can talk on prices:-) I like to try and help new members because everyone was so helpful and nice to me. It really helped me. And still does. People are wonderful in this game. :-)

Skye. Some people will put a 2 or II in the name. For example on my own stock I put 2g as 2nd generation. Then 3g and 4g and so on. Just helps me keep them straight.
