Breeding Restrictions will soon become AGAINST THE RULES.
-
I am making some changes to how public breeding works. We will soon have a friends only breeding system and once that is in place you will no longer be allowed to have breeding restrictions. They must be removed from your owner notes if you stand a horse for public breeding.
They are not against the rules just yet but this is a heads up to let you know this is coming so you can plan. Don't want anyone taken off guard.
Why is this happening? Breeding restrictions cause a lot of problems and drama between players, they make new members feel unwelcome or worse feel like they have to dispense arbitrary rules to other new players to fit in. Some of the rules I have seen put up range from incredibly overbearing to downright strange and bizarre. Basically game members have abused stud rules and lost the right to have them. People who wish to have that level of control over offspring will need to use private friend only breeding leaving public breeding for everyone.
I am not positive how this will all work but it will be in place Julyish. You will also get an in house breeding button so you wont have to list your stallions public to live cover.

Sounds cool. :) Can basic and non upgraded players use the buddy system too, or is it like the buddy sale list?

Not sure yet.
