Gene Modification Treatment
  • So I wanted to start in house GP line by using Gene Modification Treatment on my colt. It say takes 5 tokens to get GP. I paid for 5 tokens to only find out that ones you go to modification GP not there. I'm pretty upset after spending money. Why would it say GP 5 tokens but not offer it then? Can it be fix or a refund? Thanks
  • Did you buy them with real money? If you bought IV's with game money, it actually takes 20 IV's for 1 GMT token. :F
  • I see it there in the lab. It should be showing up.
  • Also you need two copies of GP for it to show, for a total of 10 tokens.
  • I used really money. Got 5 gmt tokens. I won't mind getting 5 more to get the GP but like I said donest even show up ones you go to modify horse. Show up on list? Is it under something else?
  • It says on the page.

    Gulastra Plume
Gulastra Plume interacts with agouti to cause excessive pigment loss in the tails of bay horses. It results in a tail that looks like it has been dipped in paint.
    Gulastra Plume costs 5 tokens

This is just below the frame gene.

Here is a horse I just edited to make sure it was there. http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=412907

Are you using a foundation? You can't add random genes to lined horses.
  • no he a second gen. Bay scooty splash? I looked again not showing up. I don't know?
  • Unless one of his parents has Gulastra Plume, you cannot add it. It doesn't matter if it's the sire or the dam. If you want him to be homozygous GP, both his parents have to have it.

If your 2nd gen colt has no Gulastra Plume in his ancestry, then you will have to get a bay foundation horse to add it to. A good source for foundations is the Foundation Rescue, Owner # 13.

  • Sandy is correct. You can make any modifications you desire (as long as the genes are in the lab) to a foundation 4 years old or less with no living foals. You cannot modify them if they have living foals or are older than 4. Lined horses you can only add genes that they missed out on from their parents, you can't add anything new. I, pretty sure (but not 100%) that the same age and offspring restrictions apply--that you can only modify them when they're 4 and younger with no living foals. And of course you have to color test any horse before you modify it.
