I've got this awesome little liver red dun cob dude and I think I want to GMT him a little but I can't figure out what I want to do. I know I don't want to make him roan, grey, white, and definitely not frame, I have way too many foundation stallions with it already. I'd loooove to make him satin but can't afford it. *le sigh*

Any suggestions? I wiped out my current pony line and am starting over with a cob line, which he and Mephistopheles http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=301633 will sire. Yay, chunky little minis!

Can you up his WF? It would add a touch of bling without resorting to White.

Appaloosa, Bay/Brown, Black, Brindle, Champagne, Cream, Dun, GP, KP, Pearl, Rabicano, Sabino 1, Sabino 2, Sabino 3, Silver, Sooty+, Splash, Tobiano...
That's a list copied out from the breeder's clubs page, just to see waht the other options are. :)
I'd say not to do Sabino either, for lethal combinations when you cross his offspring with Mephistopheles's. I'm sure you know that, of course. :P I might add Splash or Tobiano for some more white. :P

Can you add another DP and some Sty+ and make him a black liver dun chestnut?

You could do Sabino 3, Splash 2 or 3, or Appaloosa for patterns. Maybe KP is too expensive for you but that would be an option.

Personally (if he were mine and I could afford it) I would probably go for darkening him up with more Sty+ and DP and then adding Appaloosa or rabicano. I might be tempted to do splash if I thought he had a good chance of getting blue eyes.

DP isn't in the GMT lab anymore, is it? So that isn't actually an option.
