Mini icons blanked out?

On some pages, Horse pages, for instance, the bell for new chat messages and the envelope for new Inbox messages are garbled. This has happened for a day or so, but it's not too disconcerting. However, today, I'm sometimes seeing the refresh image and enter show icons below the horse pictures garbled, so I can't tell the difference.
It's happening sometimes on the Bluegrass server as well. Not for every page, but occasionally.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
