Excuse my ignorance, but what does the term “bootstrapped” mean? x’D

So there are two main ways to breed purposefully to increase breeding ability. The first is even breeding (foundation x foundation, 2nd gen x 2nd gen, etc etc).
The second is called 'Bootstrapping". This is when you take a high quality stallion (usually star) and breed him to many subpar mares. You BA the colts (all should basically fail) and only BI the fillies (this is why mine still says untested). Then you breed the stallion back to the fillies when they are of age. Rinse and repeat until half of your colts start passing, and then you start BAing the fillies. This is a good way to get high pt foals for show ponies, as well as quickly increasing quality.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I've got 3 stallions. The first two are breedable, with the first carrying a copy of open ice. I don't mind selling you one of the boys for 2600, especially considering one has been up for sale for 2 months and not sold lmao. The girl I'd sell for 3k, that's my going rate for bootstrapped girls this month.
