Question on Pastured Horses

Can pastured horses still train and show or are they breed only as long as they are in pasture? Thank you!

They continue to train, but they don't show. And of course intact mares don't get the training bonus that spayed ones do.

To add to that helpful info: your pastured mares will still earn their daily payout. Not entering shows is the trade-off we make for the pasture bonus. This is why it is so important to have a strong barn of money-making show ponies to financially carry the baby makers : )
