Finally rolled a Yule Log!
-
Finally managed to roll a RS HH after almost 8 months since I last rolled one. I had to take a double take to check if I really rolled a Yule Log!
So I would like to thank Ammit, and Introduce my new Yule Log Stud, who is also Hom. Non-Dun 1, Het Sooty, Het S+, and Hom. KP:
TBH Ironbark Gum KP
I will be putting him up for stud next year if anyone is interested, when I finish adding new genes to him
*EDIT* The KP doesn't seem to be working/showing, I thought it might be because he's a Yule Log, but he doesn't show up in the register list for KP Breeders Club. Does anyone know what to do?
Thanks,

He's gorgeous. KP needs 2 kit (white) genes to show up :)
Here's my recent Yule Log project, the KP patches show through his mane and at the top of his hip. He is Hom Kit M

I've been working on a Yule Log boy too. I can't decide if he's done or not. He may get that second sabino 2 yet. Lol

@KenworthFarms, can he still pass on KP to his foals even though he doesn't have two KIT genes? And Smooth Criminal looks stunning, I wish I could afford Kit M for my boy :D
@SilverAleki I'll keep you posted and will be sure to send you some when I'm finished
@JustaSaddletramp, I know the feeling he's now the 5th GMT Project Horse I've started this month to take full advantage of the daily RGS, I think I'll go broke if I keep it up :O
These are some of the ones I'm still working on, they'll also all be up for eggs/straws and public breeding at some point next year:
TBH Kookaburra Sits KP
AROF Mare - Buckskin Sabino - added Hom. KP, Hom. Sabino 2, Hom ND-1
TBH Waltzing Matilda

TBH Fort Denison
Good China Stallion - Bay Pearl Sabino Appaloosa Brindle - added pearl and Sabino 1
TBH Snowflake King

Very nice, @TrueBlueHorses! Gotta love those pearls, especially Fort Denison! :D
This month was not kind to my bank account. Lol I've wanted Ice 13 for months, so I had to.

And I love KitM and have wanted a foundie since I started playing in March, so it was going to happen too. I love how it turned out on my ARoF boy!

And I'm a sucker for a nice Yule Log, especially a dun, so I had to try non-dun on one. :)

@JustaSaddletramp very nice, I'm not really a big fan of the ice genes, but your AROF boy and Yule Log mare are both stunning. Kinda wish I didn't add S+ to my Yule Log, so he could look as stunning as your mare.
And I know exactly how you feel about spending lots of money on RGS this month, I've had to work more hours just to make up for my spending spree(s) :O
And if you ever want to straws/eggs from any of my GMT Projects above I'll be more than happy to give them to you for pull price, I'm sure they would make stunning foals with your horses above :D"A stud designed to breed horses suitable for the High Country, the Show Ring, and anything this Great Southern land throws in its way"

From what I can gather, yes even if it doesnt show he's Hom KP so his foals will be het KP. If I'm wrong someone jump in and correct me :)Thanked by 1TrueBlueHorses

Thanks for offering, @TrueBlueHorses! I have far too many studs now. But I do go looking for straws for particular mares sometimes so I'llkeep them in mind. :)
KP can definitely be passed without being visible. I've had a few KP cropouts in my bootstrap herd because of Dark Star horses who carry KP and don't show it.Justa ~ ID# 44842

I highly reccomend breeding him to mares that have kit genes though, so you can see KP pop up around the 3rd gen! :D

Also, put me down for straws. A LOT of straws.

Haha @MariaChapinFarm3 which studs would you like?"A stud designed to breed horses suitable for the High Country, the Show Ring, and anything this Great Southern land throws in its way"
