Buying IVs

Hi! So, I went to buy some IVs today, and it said you can exchange $x for a max of 5 IVs. So I bought one, then It said I could exchange for a max of 4 IVs. So my question is,can you only buy so many IVs per week/day/month? Or can I only buy 5 for the entirety of the game? Thanks!

That is just telling you that you currently have enough hbs in the bank to purchase 4 IVs now. Whereas you originally had enough to buy 5 but then you bought 1. As far as I know there is no limit in how many IVs you can buy other then how many you have enough HBs to afford. :DGod grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
