Personally, I SBA or BA pretty much everything (bootstrap herd being the only exception really). If they don't pass, as much as it hurts, then I don't feel they should be in my breeding program.

Another option is to give him a boost so that he is more likely to pass but, this will cost money as well so may not be an option. He's gorgeous regardless and would make a stunning show pony if nothing else.

There is absolutely no chance he would pass. If you want to breed him, you should turn off testing on him.

He was a happy accident. I sent the wrong straw to and ended up with this cutie. I ended up gelding him, as I'm trying my best to improve my herd by quality not just pretty ponies! He'll get to be a pretty show pony.

@SeldomSeen No, it is not possible if there is a whole paper level between them. If one was a mid-high B and the parent was a low-mid A it could work. Mayyybe even a high A parent and a high B foal - I have not played around with it that much.

Maribo I don't know the numbers but I was breeding for some show ponies a while back and that's when I play around crossing colors and patterns just to see what happens and possibly give me future breeding goals. I've never tried with a star stud but I usually cross A to yellow/ foundation for this and I have had SBA passed foals The boys I gelded but I do have some fillies to show in example. It truly shocked me to say the least. B to yellow its not a rare thing but it does get rare going beyond that.
